I'm not even going to pretend that I am not biased here, I LOVE farm life! I was about 12 years old when one day my mother had me walk about 30 minutes up through the pasture to take my father his lunch. It was a delightful time for me, wading through streams, finding buttercups, watercress, and shooting stars. It was about then that I decided that I really did like farming, and I started dreaming that one day I could marry a farmer and live on a farm for the rest of my life. Luckily for me, I did marry a farmer. This picture reminds me alot of a picture Nathan sent me after we met and were writing during the summer. His little brothers and sisters were all sitting on the fence watching the branding. In this picture, the kids are all waiting for the cattle to come, I believe. There is something wholesome and wonderful about kids being interested in what happens on the farm. I love it!!! I do wish everyone could live on a farm and enjoy the beauties it has to offer. I honestly do not know how we would raise kids without it.
