Highlights from Christmas 2014

Family-the best gift!
Having Christmas Eve dinner together as a family.
Joseph and Mary-before they got in a fight:)

 Having a live tree.
Talking with Sister Sariah Wadsworth through Skype.  She sent us all New York shirts:)
 Seeing this beautiful smile!
 The guys and their guns.
 Christmas morning line up:)
Talking with Elder Zhao on Skype.  He is doing great!  :)
Jesse made a cedar chest for Jane and we had it stashed behind the couch with a blanket over it.
Nathan and Jed made a box for Brent to store his stuff in while he's on his mission.  Jed was hiding inside when he opened it:)  haha
 Another great smile:)
Jane crocheted slippers for Ada's doll.
 And another great smile!  :)

Haha-the typical teenage scene:)

All I wanted for Christmas- :)  Love my hubby!

Overhauling Tractors

This is what Nathan and our kids work on.  Looks fun,  huh?  :) I am glad he is such a great mechanic and is willing and patient enough to take the time to teach these skills to our children.  They are definitely more knowledgeable than I.

Forgotten Carols

This year, the weekend after Thanksgiving, Kim, Lisa, and I played our violins in "The Forgotten Carols".  It was fun, and a little less stressful than last year.  I really like playing the violin, my biggest problem is finding time to PRACTICE:)

Ward Christmas Party 2014

This year Jed was supposed to be a sheep for the nativity, and he absolutely refused, saying he was too old to do that and it was for "little" kids.  So, Nathan said he would be the sheep for Jed.  He put a sweater turned wrong side out on and went out on the stage.  After a bit Jed came out as well.  When the nativity was over and the bishop was supposed to say a few words, Nathan came out of his costume and talked about leaving the 99 for the 1 and also about never being too old to be a sheep (or follower) of Jesus.  It was great.
