I really love finding treasures of wisdom that help me so much in my daily life.
They come from the scriptures,
prayer, and from things other people say.
These are some of my favorite scriptures on the subject:
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom
is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
James 1:17
"That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day."
Doctrine and Covenants 50:24
"And the Spirit giveth light to every man that cometh into the world; and the Spirit enlighteneth every man through the world, that hearkeneth to the voice of the Spirit."
Doctrine and Covenants 84:46
"And truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come; ...
He that keepeth his commandments receiveth truth and light, until he is glorified in truth and knoweth all things. ...
The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth.
Light and truth forsake that evil one.
And that wicked one taketh away light and truth, through disobedience, from the children of men, and because of the tradition of their fathers.
But I have commanded you to bring up your children in light and truth."

It is a my continual quest to be a humble seeker of truth and light.
