After almost 2 weeks of trying all kinds of ways to induce labor so that the baby could be born without surgery, last night we were blessed to have our little baby was born. We had a little baby boy that was 8" long and weighed about 6 oz. He was perfectly formed and the doctor found that there was 3 different places on the umbilical cord that had been twisted shut. He said our little one must have been quite an acrobat. We are very thankful that it all turned out well and that we didn't have to go through the dangers of a 2nd trimester surgery. The Lord has blessed us greatly. We will miss this little one being with us but are thankful for the joy that he brought us for the short amount of time he was with us. I am doing well and am so thankful for everyone's kindness and prayers.
