Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you!!!!!

This blog was created in honor of you, Daddy, to let you check on your "Nevada Kids" anytime you would like, to see how the grandkids are growing, and what is going on with the farm. It is also to thank and honor you for being the wonderful father that you have always been to me. Thank you for being there for me during my life, and for the many things you have taught me. Thanks for teaching me how to work hard, to ride horses, to milk cows, to drive tractor, to pick 5 gallon buckets of peas out of the field, to pick loader bucket-full after loader bucket-full of rocks off the flat and dry farm. Thank you for teaching me not to give up, even when the wind blows over the calf shed and the cow barn burns down and the creamery goes out of business all within a year? Thanks for teaching me how to earn and then save and be accountable for money. Thanks for choosing to have children instead of riches. Thanks for choosing to serve the Lord and live the gospel instead of pursuing other hobbies and interests.

Thanks for coming to Nevada for our reception.

Thanks for letting us have the opportunity to grow up on this beautiful farm and have the beauties of nature so abundantly surrounding us, mingled with opportunities to work and grow.

Thanks for chooing children over expensive hobbies and riches.
Thanks for your examples of service in the church, Mother and Daddy!
Thanks for taking me on horse rides, and Daddy-Daughter Dates!

Thanks for letting me shave you blind-folded-that was very brave! Good thing the Young Women's leaders took out the razor blades, huh!
