Here is my favorite recipe for apple crisp:
4 cups sliced apples (or any other fruit-we love it with canned peaches)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1/3 cup butter

Layer fruit in bottom of greased pan. MIx all other ingredients together, cutting in butter at the end. Sprinkle on fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for aobut 30 minutes or until golden & crispy.
