Rebekah's Graduation

Rebekah has graduated from high school and seminary.  We are very proud of her and her hard work to reach this point.   She is looking forward to going to college in January.

Mother's Day 2012

Mother's Day was very nice.  Things that made it special are:

Rebekah's special dessert that is my absolute favorite: CHEESECAKE!  And she did a fabulous job making it.

Talking to Jesse on Skype.  It was so fun to see him and have him see how the kids are growing, etc.

Perm time!

When I was about 14 I started giving myself perms.   Since we've been married, Nathan is kind and helps me get them done.  He gave me a perm and I gave Jane one. Jane's hair was so long, it didn't get as much curl but she looks super cute.  

 The guys have been ripping, discing, lasering, and planting corn like crazy this week.

A lovely visit from Karen

We had a fabulous time seeing our friend Karen again.  She is so sweet and it was so fun to see her again!  Love you, Karen!

Elder Jensen's CES talk

I absolutely loved Elder Marlin K. Jensen's talk at the CES fireside tonight.  It was just what I needed to hear.  He talked about opposition and how we need it to strengthen us and build character.  He also told about the Sacred Grove and how they care for it and the trees need the competition (opposition) of the other trees to become strong.  Loved it!  If you missed it, you can check it out here:  CES Fireside
