Twin Lakes

What a nice place for a nap!

We had a great time at Twin Lakes this week. Nate came with us and the kids had a good time cannoing, swimming, and hiking. It was very beautiful up there and the pines smelled so good. What a nice place to spend some family time together.

Cute Little Guy!

Baby Jed is growing fast. He is 2 months old and starting to smile lots and coo when we
talk to him. It is very fun. He's getting chubby and growing a new crop of hair. Here he is in his little farmer outfit with booties that his Aunt Montse made for him. His dimple is showing as he is about to smile.

Working on the House

The guys are putting up soffit and fascia on the house as well as building a porch.
It's looking really nice.
That's a new twist on the splits, Nate! Thanks for all your help!
Nathan putting shingles on the porch roof. Jesse adding plywood.

The kids are getting the forms ready for cement.

We started out painting the trim brown, but it wasn't going too well. We decided to put on the fascia and here is the contrast. I like the clean white lines best.

Brent sanding down the recycled wood from an earlier remodeling project.

Bring home some ribbons!

The kids entered pictcures in the fair this year. I didn't get any done.
Johnie did a combining picture.
Doll did flowers, wheat, and farm scene.
Brent did nature scenes.

Rebekah did a cow, wheat, and computer enhanced.
Nice Job, Kids!

Happy late Birthday Sariah!

Happy Birthday, Doll! We are so glad you are in our family and so happy to eat all the delicious food you make for us! Happy 16th!

I love this picture of Ada helping with little Jed white I get ready for church. She got him to sleep for me. What a sweetheart!
